I have this in my GS, but when it was installed the tech didn't drop it on it's lower setting. How hard is this to lower when the tranny is in the car or would it be best to drop the entire tranny later down the road? Lastly, any pics would be greatly appreciated.
I installed my own in my 95 a couple of years ago. I don't remember being able to install it in different positions. You don't have to move the trans to do the installation anyway.

No problem at all! In fact just be happy that you don't have to change anything, R&R'ing the shifter is a bit of a pain in the C4's!
