Default Muffler Elim power loss?

I have heard some complain the muffler eliminators give them a loss of low end torque, while others said they didn't. The trend seems to be that L98's don't have this problem and the later C4's do. Can anyone verify this?

Also what are test pipes? Are these the same thing?

Elims are awesome. In the L98's there's so much torque you won't notice a difference. A test pipe is a pipe that goes in place of the Catalytic Converter(s). It's illegal for normal street use. (but what isn't?:D)

Here is a discussion that I started when I was debating on getting them or not: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/zerothread?id=193763

Whenyou get them you won't be disappointed. I have no noticeable power loss, and they sound great. Much better than spending 1000 on an exhaust system.

This is a before and after dyno I did a few mods ago. The only changes I made was to put elims on and put true dual exhaust in place of the stock exhaust. As you can see I lost nothing down low, I actually gained down low.

Resonance is same or less. There's no more resonance than stock, at least for me.
