Default Intake bolt thread size

Anyone know what size tap I need to clean up the intake manifold to head bolts on a L98?

The intake to head bolts are 3/8 16 just use a regular tap, and some wd40

Hey there in waldorf!!! I am up rt301 in Bowie. I have the SR on already and have some hints and clues. You could also check out what it looks like up close if your interested. I also have some specific tools for the job. Like the ball head allen wrenches. When it arrives check to make sure everything is in box. Mine was missing stuff and had one set of bolts too long. Had to cut them about half inch to lock down the bottom runners. Hope you got some new injector clips and an oring kit for the fuel rail from chevy dealer or Lustines (my favorite for in stock cheap parts). I chose to replace all the sensors, but you don't have too. I also modified the MAP bracket and turned it upside down so the rear vacumn lines would exit. I also went with Lokar cables because I switched Throttle body. Make sure you run the Trans TV cable under the plenumn before bolting it on. Ohh, also make sure to transfer the pan under the intake to the new intake. And lastly, if you dont have any plumbers plugs ( I got several complete sets), for those mystery holes you will have to plug.

Thanks for the info Chris. I've read that some folks have had problems installing the SR, and some found it pretty strait forward. BTW, what manifold gasket did you use?
