I'm looking to have mine rebuilt. Over the years I remember seeing TB's getting a machined bushing for the shaft....but I'm having a hard time locating where. I am surprised to find the throttlebody sticking intermittently towards the closed position with a fair amount of play from the shaft at 65K. It feels free when not running however when running with cruise and throttle cable removed she binds a little, if I tap it- it goes closed. I want to make it right. Thanks!
stay away from the ebay TB guy. his service was terrible, and he couldn't give a crap. ZERO customer service.
I think he does it in his basement, when he has free time from his regular job.
There used to be a guy here on the Forum that had a really good reputation for this kind of work. I think he went thru a divorce and seems to have disappeared from the forum. I think his name was Dave Koldus or something close to that.

You mean the mass airflow sensor, 87's do not have a throttle body, after 1984, all C4's had tuned port fuel injection. You can buy rebuilt MAF's at car parts stores.
