Default roller rocker woes

So it turns out after talking to AFR and some builders that non-self aigning roller rockers are what I should use. I was thinking of going with scorpions, as that's what I have now and like them.

However, on the website ( website) it says for the self aligning
:
# Available Ratios 1.5-1.6 Chevy

# Design for center bolt down valve-covers

# Must use a guide plate

# The Quietest Narrow Body Rocker on the market

# LifeTime Warranty

So what scorpion roller rockers do I need? Anyone know the difference between the race and pro?

If you have AFR's or any other heads with guide plates and hardened push rods you want non-self aligning.

Nevermind, its late and I'm an idiot and read the website wrong.

I'll be getting the narrow body 1.6x3/8 non-self aligning scorpions online soon.

Anyone have an opinion on going 1.6 all the way around vs 1.6/1.5 combo? Any benefit to warrant the hassle of doing a split?
