Broken Vacuum Line???

Broken Vacuum Line???
What can you tell me about this vacuum line? What should it be connected to at the other end? I'm trying to figure out why my A/C vent door won't open all the way, and hoping this may be why...
Car is an '86 Roadster, Manual A/C controls...
And yeah, the car is an absolute mess right now. Trying to fix things first.

I just pulled the attached end of the hose, and there was either a release of air or sucking of air. The clean cut at both ends makes me think its supposed to maybe be a vent?

ok well i'll just throw this out there, that line MAY be connected to your manifold right next to your FPR...check both lines on the passenger side of the intake plenum and follow both one should goto the fpr and the other should head that way....just a thought.

That is your check valve and should have a tee. One line going into wire bundle on firewall (HVAC vacuum) and the other going to vacuum storage tank and cruise control (if you have it).
