bad cold starts
have a 1994 lt1....all of a sudden, it runs very rough when starting cold...its only when getting warmer around 150 degrees does it start to smooth out. it still does not idle like it used to you even when fully warmed up. i am trying to decide why it should go south without much warning at all. i thought i water in fuel so have used heet and full tank of fuel, so have eliminated that. any ideas out there?....

Sounds like the A/F mixture might not be right. Check the connections on the ECT temp sensor in the water pump and air temp sensor in the intake near throttle body. If a sensor went bad, it should show up when you check for codes. Possibly a code might lead you to a totally different area, but is at least a good starting point.
Might want also clean out the throttle body if it has not been done in the last few years.
