To be honest, I didn't ever do anything to the VATS, it was already "disabled" when i bought it (from a forum member) and it never did give me problems.

oh, it wasnt the ICM, by the way.
I need to read up on my Vette's VATS now
I can tell you what to do. Most VATS bypass systems are a resister in place of the ignition key. Remove the panel under the steering column. There will be a small two wire pigtail coming out of the column(Not the yellow one it the airbag) and it's probably not hooked the anything, This pigtail gos up to the switch and reads the resinates of your key when starting your car. Now find the other end that should plug in to this pigtail, it should be close by. There will be a resistor plugged in to it, This is the bypass i have been talking about. It just takes the place of the resistor in the key. Unplug this resistor then after three minutes the VATS will be reset. Now plug the resistor back up and start your car, I see this 20 times a year at work, It's that easy, But no one believes me.

Well I pulled the panel off to look for that resistor and suprise-suprise an incomprehensable rat's nest of wires came tumbling out. At the heart of this mess there is a black box i assume is an aftermarket door lock/unlocker. I have no idea which wires have to do with the VATS.
I NEED a troubleshooting guide! Will someone PLEASE post or email me the FSM page?
When i turn the key to start, it does nothing.
When I cross the terminals of the starter, it spins over fine but wont run.
Ignition is firing.
maybe its 2 problems? like a bad fuel pump plus a blown ignition/starter fuse, relay, or switch??
