Default Vacuum Question

If you have a higher lift cam in the engine, would you expect a lower vacuum?

I understand that good vacuum on a stock engine is around 18-20 inches of Hg.

I have confirmed that my vacuum at idle is 11-12 inches of Hg.

I haven't had my car long and it sounds and feels like I could have a different cam.

What do ya'll think?

NO. Lift and vacuum are totally unrelated. The same is NOT true of duration, and/or overlap, however.

If your vacuum level was at spec for a stock LT1 before cam swap to LT4 Hot Cam, about how much would it drop from the stock cam?
