I just had my A/C evacuated and charged the other day. There was 2 pounds of refridgerant put in which is what that system is supposed to hold. The air blows cool but not cold. Anyone have an idea what may be wrong? Thanks in advance.
Assuming you had it done at a Shop, Law requires (in CA) that they provide in writing the High and Low Side Pressures, Ambient and Center Vent Temps. Post those.

I'd also ask what micron level they evacuated it to and for how long. Standard is 500 microns minimum.
Thanks. I did not get all that info from him. They who did it is certified and does all of our limousines for us. His machine is a snap on that is just under 2 years old. I am going to head over there in a little while
It is great now. I took it back and he checked for leaks. There were none. He evacuated the system and filled it up to 1.4 pounds. It blows out of the vents at just under 40 degrees.
I was just going to post about the 2 lbs put in. if you overcharge, it'll seem like it doesn't have enough. a lot of do-it yourself guys don't have guages and put in too much. glad you got it worked out

In essence they did a "double vacuum". Some times that's what it takes to remove all non condensibles.
