corsa exhaust question

corsa exhaust question
i was looking at exhaust threads and decided that general opinion is to go with corsa... after looking on their website, all i could find were exhausts for 86 and up, i have a stock 85, will the exhaust system for the 86-91 fit on my 85 with any amount of fabrication? if not where might i find a corsa exhaust system for an 85?

I have an '85 with Corsa. (Totally love it, BTW.) I installed mine as part of a headers-back system.
The ONLY difference between an '85 and an '86 exhaust is in the flange of the catalytic converter. '85 is a 4 bolt unit. '86 is a 2 bolt unit. (I installed a punched cat.)
The rub is that you'll need to get a new universal cat and use the appropriate flange sleeves. ('85 in front, '86 in back.)Or just have a muffler shop cut & weld a 2 bolt flange on your old cat. There are certain legal issues to deal with, so go to a back-woods shop.
