I’m looking to add a performance exhaust to my 1996 C4. Think I my go with Billy Boat system, My question is which is better the 2.5” or 3”?

I would go with the 2.5 system. The resonance on the 3" system was deafening to me.
You already have 2.75 exhaust now.A cheaper alternative would be to pick up some used mufflers and install them or do muffler eliminators with the tips of your choice.

With a stock engine and true duals the 2 1/2" system is adequate.

lt4play has BBs on his '96. The resonance in 6th gear kills him and irritate's his beautiful wife to no end. I think he has the stock 2.5" pipes, too. Consider some sort of damping aparatus, or you'll go deaf.
