OK here's what I have:
Car runs great until warm, then it will miss now and again, and die now and again. Always seems to start again. Went it misses the check engine light comes on, when you re-start the light is out.
1993 LT-1, 75,000 miles, opti, wires, plugs, water pump, 1,000 miles ago. New Ignition Module 100 miles ago (changed that b/c I though it would cure the problem, not). What else: Today had new rubber put on, no tire noise now, and I think I can hear the fuel pump rattling back there so I ordered a new one of those, but I don't think that is the casue of the dying, and missing.
So the question is becasue I can't find it in the book, what is a code 74, and how do I get rid of it.

Code 74 will not cause your problem. Got a FSM? It has a drivability section that will detail the steps to take. Or you can keep throwing money at it if you want.
