Shift boot interchange question
Ok. I need help here.
If I have a shift plate from like an 86 or something, says "4+3" on it. And I have a ZF6 transmission, with a ZF6 shift boot.
So will the ZF6 shift boot screw into the 4+3 shift plate?
I'm assuming "Yes" since a ZF6 was available in 1989, but then again I've also heard a rumor that the 1989 shift plate was "different"..
