Custom tune by email
Can you get a custom tune for a '94 w/ hot cam, etc. from pcmforless and have it emailed to me? I know they have a base program you can load yourself, but I need a custom tune. I can pay by CC or PayPal.
I don't want to send in the PCM or do the core charge/swap thing.
I have the necessary cable/ program to up load the file to the PCM and will have opportunity to make any changes later if I wanted.

Yes, they do. It costs $75, they call it a "base tune" but that just means its a starting point. You give them the specs of your engine and any mods you have and they will send you a custom .bin file.
You then take a recording with Datamaster while you are driving (after you've loaded the new .bin file) and send that back to Pcmforless. They will determine if your car is running good with the new tune and if necessary make some tweaks and send you a new bin. The amount of times they retweak your bin is limited, and if you install another mod afterwards, you have to pay $75 again.
That what I did, I have the Hotcam kit with 1.6 roller rockers. They sent me a new .bin file, but I haven't sent a recording to them yet. I talked to Alvin, he said he has done so many Hotcam tunes that he can pretty much dial it in the first time.
If do go that route, make sure after you send the money to them that you click on the "ordersheet" link on the home page on the left side and fill in all the info about your car's engine, mods, etc.
