I have installed power programmer and 160 thermostat, will my car pass emissions, or if not will putting a bottle of "emission test" (found at autozone) in the gas tank work? :blueangel: :blueangel: :smash:
I'm pretty sure you will not have a problem with emisions. I don't think they hurt emissions. Not sure if they are smog certified though. Check there website.

Re: Power Programmer+ emission test? (jay17)
All this talk about passing emissions on this forum makes me happy that I live in Oklahoma :jester
Don't count on that forever though Jester... I used to live in a small city in AZ where we were exempt from smog tests as well... They changed that a couple years back since the smog was getting worse in the Phoenix area...
As for the HPP+, whenever I have my car smogged, I remove the programming so that the car heats up to make it more emissions efficient... The only time my car sees over 220F temps is on the smog dyno... Just program it back after the smog... I've never tested it to see if it would pass, I just don't want to take the chance of being classified as a "gross polluter" here in CA, creates too many hassles...
