Default Starter Recommendation

I am going to replace the starter on my 90 convertible, any recommendations as to kind and brand? Although I have not as yet I also plan to replace my exhaust manifolds with headers other than that the engine will be bone stock.

any aftermarket gear reduction high torque starter. It'll be easier to install/remove later-last longer-weighs less-more clearance-better starting. The only con is they are pretty expensive.

I used to run the Summit pro-torque denso type gear reduction starter. Worked great. About $145 shipped from summit.

Unfortunately, not with the ZF6 as the hole is located lower and the starter would crash into the BH.
