Current and History Codes
I'm getting some new codes as of today. Heads were just put back on after 9 months of sitting, if that matters.
Current codes are 32, 34, 36, and 38. They're also in history. First time I have had these, and from the FSM, they deal with the LCD. The battery is a Optima, but like I said, it sat for a while. Could that be my problem? Also, not sure how good the alternator is, it's old too I would assume.

32 = The most common cause of this code is a bad or intermittent EGR switch which is located on the EGR pipe between the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold. Replace this switch first when you get this code. Next, check electrical connections at EGR valve solenoid and then the ECM. Check all vacuum lines for leaks especially around the EGR valve. Possible ECM failure.
34 = Mass Air Flow Circuit or Manifold Absolute Pressure Low (depending on year).
36 = Check connections at MAF, MAF relay and MAF Burn off relay. Check resistance of MAF relay and MAF burnoff relay with digital Ohm meter. replace if less than 18 Ohms. Possible ECM failure.
38 = TCC brake switch stuck OFF
Sounds like you need to recheck all of your wiring connectors and vacuum lines.
I looked up the codes in the book, but i'm not that familar with them. They all have to do with the LCD, and I've never had an issue with mine. The battery volts are jumping a lot, so I'm not sure if my alternator is dying or the battery. Would that cause the codes?
