Drooping mirror fix.
Thought I might put this out there and see if anyone else has the same problem and maybe a different fix. When I first bought my vert a couple years ago I noticed on the way home with it that the rear view mirror was starting to droop. 
The closer to home I got the limper it seemed to be. By the time I was home it had given up the ghost and just hung there. 
After inspecting the two ball joints that provide for adjustment, I noticed that at one time a plastic washer had been installed in order to give it some resistance to movement. That was long gone. So I set the mirror in the best position for me and then I drilled the lower ball and tapped it out to fit an 8-32 screw. After installing the screw I dabbed a bit of marker ink on top and Voila! No more droop.
Any other ideas?

Alright, there we are, now I'm a professional IMG Paster. Thanks for the lessons I think I got it. I guess everyone has to learn sometime. Sorry for all the trivial posts but now I think I've learned something.
TM-06 I thought of that too, but I was concerned about build up and eventually drying out. But, hey, if it works that's another use for 3M.
By the way, now that I see the full sized picture I guess I'll be washing the car a bit more carefully this weekend.
