Every bump I go over the doors unlock. Is it safe to assume that the door jamb switches are the culprit? Should I just replace them or is there an easier way to diagnose the problem?
is the power lock switch loose or wobbly? Maybe it flips to "unlock" when jarred?
The door jamb switches, afaik, just tell the car if the door is closed (used for the interior lights and security system). I don't think they'd cause locking/unlocking.
Sorry. I've been here long enough that I should remember to include my year. It's a 95 convertible. When the key is in the ignition and the door closes it's supposed to unlock the door so you can't lock the keys inside. I was thinking maybe it thinks the doors are opening because of a bad switch...?

thx. I should check if the interior lights go on when it does it. It was too bright out today to notice if they did or not.
