EGR on 85 intake

EGR on 85 intake
I got to looking at my intake and there is no hole on the uppertunnel ram intake for the EGR tube on the driverside
is this supposed to be like that?
or so i have something very wrong?
all i see is a tube going to nothing. gasket has everything right and i was thinking maybe i have a different years plenums or tunnel ram

Driver side? what are you describing?
85's EGR is internal, different from the other years.

ill get pics in a lil bit
OK let me try this again
on the drivers side plenums there is the 4 big tubes and a smaller (bout 1/2 inch) tube that runs up to the tunnel but there is no hole for it to go into.
Idk if this tube should be there or what but it is and if its a water jacket or something then i dont want an vacuum leak of was leak all over the place

OK heres what im talking about
This is the passenger side plenum and tunnel ram. notice the 1/2" hole
This the the drivers side. 1/2" still on the plenum but not on the tunnel ram
hope this makes it clear

FWIW, I blocked mine off....don't know if TX has emissions test on state inspection.......

no emissions tests here
and next year im getting antique plates so it wont matter
so is it supposed to be like that?

Looks like Cold Start injector provision to me.
