Need some assistance...
Getting the car ready to get inspected this week. I have everything ok, except two of the bulbs in the upper brake mount are bad, no biggie there except the price of the lights that need replaced.
My question is however, the two brake lights on the passengers side are not lighting? I can't imagine that both lights are bad at the same time, and I only get parking lights if i turn them on.....sounds like a bad ground to me...any ideas?
Also don't have any backup lights; a while back a fellow worker of mine told me that my backup lights were on when going down the road after leaving work. Would a ground do that too?
I hate wiring.

If the parking lights work I'd say the ground is okay, don't be too surprised if it turns out to be the bulbs, the filament for the brake and turn signals is separate from the park lamp. Standing them up on the back bumper is tough on bulbs.
The backup lamps could be a bad switch based on the symptoms, or even a fuse.
Don't let the wiring intimidate you, should be able to check it out with a test light.
