Default Which c4 nitrous kit should I get

Guys I'm looking for a nitrous kit for my c4. I would like at least a 200 to 250 shot of nitrous. But the problem is there are so many kits out there on the market. I know in order to shot this much gas is a strain on the bottom end of the engine, but I think I have that part covered. The engine is a 406 with forged every thing from the crank up, with a mini ram intake. Would the spacer spray plate between the throttle body and intake handle what I want and is it available for my application, and what fuel system changes would i need to make in order to run nitrous.

Thanks.

you will need to use foggers - the plate is only good to 175-180

How complex is fogger system to install compared to the plate system and what fuel delivery changes must be made?

I have a NX system that came with 2 "Shark foggers" that goes in the air intake tubes. Good for 100-250...and it works very good.

What fuel system chaanges did you make. I'm running a larger intank fuel pump already, would I need another fuel pump. I hear the carb guys talking about how they must use two fuel pumps with such a big shot nos. Would the efi set up call for the same provisions?

make sure you use a fuel pressure safety switch, and start the shot small and work your way up - depending on what your car does NA will dictate if the stock fuel lines and pump can handle the extra load.

from the sounds of your post your going into n2o for the first time, dont go crazy with a big shot right off the bat -

my setup is a walbro 255 in tank and the fuel solenoid gets feed from the fuel rail fitting.

I wont go any bigger then 150 until I get a fuel cell and separate pump and regulator.

I have an '90 L98 with vortec heads. A half-inch cam and a edelbrock 650. Any input on what would be a good nitrous system for that set-up?
