Auto climate control issue??????
OK....... I have reworked my HVAC box and re did the hoses inside...now, when you switch to Max or dash it still does blow out there. If I run a vacuum line from motor to HVAC it works fine. I think I am not getting enough vacuum from the original line it seems, but I really think the tan line that runs to vacuum valve which controls the dash vents is leaking or the line is leaking. I guess the new vacuum line is strong enough to overcome the leak. My question is how do you get to the top vacuum valve the tan line runs to???? I have taken almost all my dash apart and can only touch it at arms length and cannot reach the line where it attaches. Any ideas would be great and any suggestions on how to run a new vacuum line through the firewall would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks!!!!!

I think you are right on,
I think you are right on. I don't think it is the vacume line. I also think it is in the valve.
I don't know the details about replacing it but I would find a way. If nothing else, I would put a factory valve on the new line and it will work fine(although not in a factory manor).
