Clutch/trans issues
I've been experiencing a couple of issues here and wondre if anyone has had this too. (4+3 speed)
1. My O.D. won't kick in until about 100-200 yds no matter if I warm up the car or not. I checked all connections and everything is good, fluids are filled, and once I'm on the road everything is fine. Does this sound like the OD starting to crap out?
2. Very recently when I press the clutch, half the time there is a squealling sound (that sounds like when an A/C compressor goes out) and I had a couple times when I had a hard time shifting into 2nd. I've been hearing that this may be the throwout bearing?? I installed centerforce clutch /throwout kit a few years ago and has less than 10000 miles on it...was that my mistake and if so is there a better brand that will last.
