Default Starter clarification

HEre's what's going on:
86 auto with Hooker 2151s
want a ministarter
I need a 153 tooth flywheel correct? (according to vaders site)

I was looking on summit's site and what gear reduction ratio do I need for the starter?

I have a basically stock 86, no head work or cam right now. I may upgrade heads and cam in 4-5 years. Thanks in advance

Does it come with the solenoid? It's difficult to tell by the picture.

Sounds a little steep ;
Just buy the factory starter used on the later L98 and LTX engines;
same 153 tooth and same mounting bolt pattern .
Factory designed and nice and small.

Looks like the one I got at the Zone for around $160. I just asked for a starter for a 90 Vette. The big + terminal on the starter is close to the header but it does clear.

This is a very good starter. I also use it on my V8 Vega.
