I removed my seats the other day to get them recovered and the passenger floor was puddled in water. I pulled the carpet and dried the water out. The next day it rained and I could see a trail coming from the front center floor board. Leaking windshield? Body seam? Any suggestions before I just start removing stuff to find it?

What year/model vette?
not sure what/where you mean when you say 'front center floor board', please clarify.
BTW, some quick possibilities:
1. the cowl vent (outside base of windshield) drain tubes are clogged. They are 2 or 3 (depending on year) duck-bill rubber tubes hanging down below cowl vent on engine side of firewall -- one typically above battery, one typically above the heater blower motor).
2. windshield top/driver side molding is leaking or the tube inside the molding which seals the drivers door window at the front, has become damaged and is not draining the water down below the door body lip.
3. sometimes water gets through the door hinge, so review the sealer in/around the upper hinges.
If so, welcome to H-E double hockey sticks...heater core is leaking. I'd suspect this before I would suspect a sudden leak in the body allowing rain water in.
It is a 94 model. It for sure is fresh water. All I have removed is the passenger seat and passenger side carpet. If I was sitting in the seat with me legs extended, my feet would be touching the area where the water is comming in. The windshield has been replaced, but it was about 8 years ago.
I pulled the sound deadening material back far enough to access the fresh air vent. When I pushed it open water poured in. Where is the drain for this?
