I have some experience with making technical video's in another industry, and my only advise is a lot of close-ups and high resolution..... with some of the parts of a valve body and transmission, if you're just doing the standard neighborhood video, it would be very hard for your viewers to see and understand what your message is.....
However, it would end up being a very, very large video..... probably have to distribute on dvd for a small cost. (I'd pay no problem)

My intentions were damned good, but my available time to do it is bad.
My job currently requires 50-100 hours a week, and I am often far away from home. I normally travel 4-5 days a week.
It may happen, but not likely. Shame, because it is something I wanted to do.
