4l60E to Manual

The automatic to manual swap threads I've seen are for older C4s.
What about the computor controlled A4 cars (94-96)?

Anybody do it successfully?
Any tough issues to overcome?

What were the OH BUY the ways, and would you do it again?

4l60e is a tough beast of an automatic if you have it rebuilt with the upgraded sunshell, clutch packs, and pump rings. Ask Pete K, or others.

......and you still have a 4 speed auto....

I know about probuilt and some other shops that do good work, but this thread is about CONVERSION not upgrading

Come on there has got to be a 1994-1996 owner that has swapped the auto for a manual
