I just put a remanufactured one in mine ($180) and it worked great, looks like they rebuild the circutry, and you just exchange the core (housing). Don't know the longevity of these, but I think a new GM unit is around $600.
Thanks-- Took the MAF off and cleaned it--runs alot better-- still has a noticable miss-- Found somebody to hook it up and a code 33-MAF sensor or circuit to high came up--- Ordered the new MAF-- wandering if I should go ahead and change the EGR valve??

The MAF and burn-off relays may also do this, NAPA sells them I think they were $12.
