well i've been busting my a$$ trying to get the car ready for the track before the end of the month, and shes almost ready to rock.
the new motor i'm building for the car is on hold for a little until i get my $$$ back on track. i plan on having th other motor ready before the end of the season but until then im racing with the old fresh motor that i've always had. nothing on the motor was changed from the past 3 years . the only things that i changed was taking weight of the car , fuel system , wheels and tires , and 4 link 12 bolt axle. The car is was geared for the new motor i was building so it setup to shift @ 9000 RPM
i added few pics of my fuel cell and batt setup in the back of the car. also pics of how i took out the stock heater box and sheet the fire wall with aluminum and i no longer have power brakes . the engine by is much cleaner and the car is much more fun to work on...
Looks awesome man. I need to do that with my heater too. Sure cleans out the engine bay. Will have to tackle that next time motor is out. Maybe when the 555CI motor goes in!
looks good !
You mentioned the track, what class are you planning to run the car in?
I see you have et streets on the rears, what front tires (and size) are you using ?

its a drag radial class , the slowest car in the class runs 9.0 and te fastest is a 7.7s, i should be able to be in the top 16 with this motor but once the new motor is done.... game over
