Default Shes Ready To Race

sup guys,

well i've been busting my a$$ trying to get the car ready for the track before the end of the month, and shes almost ready to rock.

the new motor i'm building for the car is on hold for a little until i get my $$$ back on track. i plan on having th other motor ready before the end of the season but until then im racing with the old fresh motor that i've always had. nothing on the motor was changed from the past 3 years . the only things that i changed was taking weight of the car , fuel system , wheels and tires , and 4 link 12 bolt axle. The car is was geared for the new motor i was building so it setup to shift @ 9000 RPM

i added few pics of my fuel cell and batt setup in the back of the car. also pics of how i took out the stock heater box and sheet the fire wall with aluminum and i no longer have power brakes . the engine by is much cleaner and the car is much more fun to work on...

Fuel regulator won't pass NHRA tech (mounted on the firewall..a no-no!) - must be mounted no closer than 6" to the firewall.

this is point is moot if you're running IHRA (their tech is a bit "relaxed")

Other than that... nice work!

its not a regulator , its a fuel Y block, the reggulator is over 6inch away from the firewall

Looks killer, very business like. Ya know, it may be red but I do not see any L98 there at all.

it's anything carrying fuel... lines, y-block, regulator, etc. (stupid rule, but you know the drill)...

Looks awesome man. I need to do that with my heater too. Sure cleans out the engine bay. Will have to tackle that next time motor is out. Maybe when the 555CI motor goes in!

its a drag radial class , the slowest car in the class runs 9.0 and te fastest is a 7.7s, i should be able to be in the top 16 with this motor but once the new motor is done.... game over

SWEET!!!!

Your C4 is looking MEAN!! Can't wait till I can get mine done. It is now scheduled to go to my shop next week.

What brand rims are those (are they the Billet Specialties rims)? What size are your front rims? What front brakes are you using? Thanks!!
