Selective Ride Selection
ok hmm i put the key into my vette and put it into the on position but didn't start it..... now i looked at my info center screen on the console and a light went on in the top right corner saying, "Selective Ride Selection" ......what does that mean? does it mean my cars got adjustible ride control??? if so how to control it??......

There are two really big things that will slap you in the face when you have FX3.
1). There is a 3-position **** between the seat controls on the center arm rest. It should say Tour, Sport, Performance.
2) There should be an actuator on top of the shocks with a wire bundle (small) running from it. Open the hood and look at them.
3) Under the center arm rest there are option codes on the lid. If you have FX3 it should be listed.

And if you are really lucky, the system will work! Mine has had the "service ride control" light on since day one. I never have gotten around to replacing the broken actuator and the front shocks. I'll do it someday.

hmmm my cars rpo's don't list fx3 but i was so sure i saw it on my list of rpos i wrote out.... guess i was wrong..... so whats up with this?? why does it show the light if i don't have this option?? cuz i haven't seen any controls or anything near the seat controls and the console box.

All of the cars have the same Driver Information Panel. They wouldn't make a different one for non-FX3 cars. When you turn the key on, it lights up all the warning lights on the panel as a system test.
