Default L98 Dizzy?

Whats the two plugs that plug into the dizzy cap on an '88 L98? Ive got the one that goes into the back. But I cant find what plugs into the front. Whats the pink wire near the firewall around the dizzy area?

Its a pink wire with a white clip at the end and it has 2 little holes where somethere plugs in. Can anyone post some pics of the dizzy area and the wires on their cars?

Alright I plugged those two in the dizzy cap. And the car started right up though it sounded nasty-almost like metal was hitting metal, so I cut it off right away. Could this be since the egr pipe is off and I dont have a blockoff plate on yet? Or could this mean the timing is off.
