I personally haven't used it, but it looks to me like a feasable alternative to the mini-ram if you want to stick with fuel injection. It does work with a carb though, and you could just go all-out carb to keep the cost down.
If you have the $$, then it's good to go. Make sure you stick a nice 750 DP on top to get the best out of it.
