Best part was I only spent $15 total.
$10 for a set of SAE flare crowfoots from Harbor Freight.
$5 for the new line with coupler included at Napa.
The tube bender and flaring tool was basically free. Autozone gives you back the deposit when you return everything properly.
Even an idiot like me who's never done flaring before can create perfect flared ends. The tool is idiot proof.

Great job. Even though compression fittings work well, flaring the ends and joining with a flared union is the best way to go. Alot of racers do it to both lines to allow a convenient spot to unhook the lins for faster removals and reinstalls of the trans.
