WE REPLACED THE SHORT BLOCK AT 49,000 MILES. SHORTLY AFTER WE INSTALLED ALL THE OTHER ITEMS. THE CAMSHAFT IS A GM GRIND. SPECS ARE 208/221 DURATION @.050 , 522 LIFT WITH 1.6 RATIO FULL ROLLER ROCKERS. THE LIFTERS ARE STOCK GM ROLLER WITH STOCK HOLD DOWN.
THE INTAKE BASE IS AN ACCELL WITH ARIZONA SPEED & MARINE RUNNERS, THE UPPER BOX HAS BEEN PORTED. WE INSTALLED A FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR AT THIS TIME AS WELL. THE DISTIBUTOR HAS AN ACCELL MODULE INSIDE, WE RAN MSD WIRES AND AN INDEXED SET OF FR5LS DELCO PLUGS. WE HAD A CHIP CUSTOM BURNED FOR ALL THE UPGRADES WE DID. THE REAR AXLE IS A DANA 44 WITH A 3.45 RATIO, IT WAS BRAND NEW FROM GM. ALONG WITH THE HEADERS, AIR INTAKE, COOLER THERMOSTAT, HI FLOW MASS AIR SENSOR, THIS CAR RAN CONSISTENT FLAT 13 SECOND QUARTERS AT 104 MPH. BEST RUN IN PERFECT CONDITIONS THE CAR WENT 12.77 AT 107 MPH. I HOPE THIS INFO HELPS YOU.
