Default BLM Cells

Let me know if I have done my homework correctly. The way I see it, If my engine is in RPM range x and MAP range y, the scanner will show a BLM cell between 1 and 16. There are four possible ranges for x and 4 possible ranges for y, so that 4 * 4 grid will yield 16 unique values.

I am just an observer in this game, right? All I can really do is adjust my VE table so the the BLMs come up to 128 and then I just look at the cell for fun?

Thanks, -Matt-

From what I've been able to figure out- The blm is stored in memory; and that memory is divided into the 15 different cells that correspond to a particular load and rpm at each cell just as you said. But it looks like it starts at cell 00 and then goes up to cell 15. However I've noticed that in the 6E tdf there are tables for BLM cell MAF and RPM boundaries. They are low, mid and high. The rpm bound. are low-1000rpm; mid-1200rpm and high-2000rpm. The MAF bound. are low-13gps; mid-21gps and high is 34gps. Now the cells make sense-a way to store the blm's in memory for each load/rpm. As for the blm boundary's- I've heard that you can change them to increase or decrease "sensitivity" of the tables; but has anyone tried changing the boundaries or have more info on what they can do???????

If I am not mistaken, Glenn over @ the 3rd gen 'maro site has played with the boundrys. I have not played with it enough to see a gain in that but he is MUCH more qualified in promming than I, so................ maybe ask him.
