Default 1984 Corvette air conditioning

The car has been convert to 134 in the past. The pressure in the system in normal or slightly above. The compressor will kick on. It is not blowing as cold as I would like it.

Any comments? Any suggestions?

stick a thermometer in the vent, let it run on max ac for 10 mins with it in the vent, after 10 mins check your temperature and look up the spec for the car if the temps are similar there really isnt much you can do

if the pressure is reading slightly high it could have a overcharge and its not operating properly try step 1 first then take it somewhere and have them evac it vaccum the system and recharge it with the correct amount of freon

I am wondering if it was over filled during the conversion process at the Chevrolet dealer?

I am going to the fan area for dirt tomorrow.

Thanks

I agree but with a caveat.............use either a fan or drive the car while checking it to make sure you have air flow across the condenser.

I doubt it is dirt over the condenser, Even a filthy system would only have 25% of the system blocked for air flow.
