Someone else hopefully will chime in, but I thought a 94 Lt1 had sequential fired injectors whereas an l98 has batch fired.....I don't know honestly if that's right or wrong, or if it would make a difference. Did you try running a hot wire to the ALDL? definetly a fuel delivery problem if starting fluid gets it to run!

You are correct, the 94 had sequential firing, but from what I read its the same injector.
As far as it working or not, I'm pretty sure I read on here that it would work. But I still could be wrong. Hopefully someone that sees this will know b/c if thats the problem I'd buy them and be done with it.

I hadn't tried running a hot wire straight to the aldl yet. I hadn't worked on it since the last day that I posted. Been pretty busy with everything lately.

Edit: I tried to kick the tire too.. it didn't work lol!

I'd send Jon (FICINJECTORS) a PM asking about the compatibility of the injectors. I thought the 88-91 L98 multitechs were different from 1994 since they had such a high failure rate.

Jon is the expert and if you need injectors, he's the best source.

He actually sent me a pm monday to call his shop and he'd give me a hand with it. I hadn't had a chance to call him yet tho but plan to as soon as I get some more time.

The Security light blinking while cranking is not normal and indicates there could be a communication problem between the ECM and Pass Key Decoder Module.

Since you replaced the ECM, that leaves the Pass Key Decoder Module.
I believe it sends a 50hz square wave signal to the ECM when the key pellet resistance matches what the Pass Key Decoder Module is programmed for. The ECM can then pulse the injectors. To verify the integrity of that square wave would require an oscilloscope.

Have you tried pulling codes by shorting Pin A to Pin B on the Diagnostic connector to see if any ECM error codes are set?

The 94 uses a 24lb injector with the Sequential system. Also it is a multec 2 which was supposed to be self cleaning.
