E Test Surprises
1989, 383, Super Ram, AFR 195 Eliminators, 230/230 0.598" on a 1.6 rr on a 110 CL.
Idle Video.
In car idle video.
RESULTS
SPEED ----- TEST ----- LIMIT ----- READING
40 KM/H ---- HC ppm -- 242 --------4
40 KM/H ---- CO% ----- 1.92 -------0.01
40 KM/H ---- NO ppm -- 2520 -------462
IDLE -------- HC ppm -- 300 --------24
IDLE -------- CO% -----1.5 --------0.3
THIS THING PASSES WITH FLYING COLORS
Tips and tricks ..... maybe someone could disconnect the ESC wire and during the idle test, raise the idle speed via the gas pedal to like 1400-1500 RPM instead of the engine doing 900 or so.
Yeehaw, good for another 2 years!!

This was tested under the hot rod class, due to the engine not being offered as a production engine. But, this thing passes by 1989 standards easily.

Dyno and track numbers to follow.
The track numbers will basically just be for MPH cuz I'm afraid of putting sticky tires on it and grenading the rear end if I go for traction.
