Default ECM ,PCM Question !

The only dumb question is the one you don't ask.
I have a 95 with Accel Gen 7 ECM and the PCM still controls the 4L60E and the gauges.
We all have computer cars that get stored worked on overhauled ETC that require unhooking the power to the car.

Question: Do you loose your tune or degrade your tune if not powered up for an extended time.
Say thirty days???
I'm going to buy a trickle charger anyway but the programmable ECM with $400.00 tune in it is unhooked while I'm out of town , should I be worried ???
Should I be crying when I start it and it jumps straight in the air and grenades the 383 beast LT 4 engine???

Question two: Anyone have a link to the MSD 6A troubleshooting spark link. I can't seem to locate the one that details procedures for checking the module and the coil.
I have the late opti and two hookup coil that I am only using one side [ don't ask, it worked !].

You have flash memory, so no you would not loose your tune.
