Steering Column ?
I removed my steering wheel to replace the horn connector. As I removed some of the things in the column the first thing to be removed was the INFL restraint coil assy. I slid it off the shaft and just let it hang to the side as I replaced the horn connector. After I get most of it back together someone says you have to rewind the spring in it. I didn't know that unwound in the first place. Will it be ok to leave it as is and put the steering wheel back on or must this spring be rewound? If I don't do this will the airbag go off after I reconnect the connector and battery? THANKS Pipe

I don't know the answer to your part problem.
I do know ALL ABOUT AIRBAGS. Mine went off in a 110mph combined speed square head-on, and I didn't have a seatbelt on (no exaggerations - it's on the report).
Everything else you can do yourself. Don't take a chance on the bag.
