It suddenly dawned on me that I might have done something wrong.
I rewired my TWO very powerful 3000 cfm spal cooling fans, by taking a power feed directly off of the battery. The relay is triggered by the original signal from the ECM.
Should I have taken the feed off of the ALTERNATOR instead?
Somebody? CFI-EFI? AGENT86? BADUCK? STAUGER? Where are you guys?
Thanks
Lee

Battery juction post with individual fuses and relays would work also. Did I miss a thread about why you need so much air. A stock cooling system will keep the temps normal.
The original setup was the same as your new setup, but the factory setup includes fusible links, one for ECM controlled main fan and one for coolant temp switched aux fan. Is there a fuse or fusible link between the battery and relay ??
Thanks guys. I'll keep it at the battery and add the fusible link. So much air is needed because the damned 383 that fat dawg engines built me makes SOOOO much heat it's not even funny. I've got crazy power but can't idle anywhere worth a damn... Forget about air conditioning ...

Sounds like a tuning issue. My 388 LT1 never had that kind of heat problem running the A/C or not.
