You are still in open loop. Let the engine warm up until it goes into closed loop. I'm curious as to why it says both fans are running. I have the same scanner and always have trouble keeping the connection between the scanner and computer.
I had that connectivity probelm as well. I was getting ready to call the AUTOXRAY folks and ask what the problem was but I remember reading in another thread that you had to make sure your ALDL connection was clean so I cleaned it with elctro clean and a cotton swab and it cured that problem.
I noticed the read on the fans and I can say without a doubt that only the primary fan was on. I am unsure why it shows both on. I am open for comment or thoughts.
Three things (at least) are needed for closed loop:
-certain coolant temp minimum
-certain elaplsed time since engine startup
-O2 sensors warm enough to by "cycling"

Did you ever solve your connectivity problem? Now mine is giving me the "vehicle not responding' code when I hook up. The connector still allows me to short the pins and pull the codes on the dash but the scanner will not connect. Any one have any solutions?
my autoxray does the same thing. I have to turn the scanner off - on quite a few times, then eventually it'll work.
sometimes I have to turn the engine off-on a few times.
it's a RPITA.
In that case, you may want to try a tool reset. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Remove one battery from the tool
2. Press and hold the POWER button for 30 seconds
3. Release the POWER button and replace the battery
4. Power the tool on
Also, you may want to check / test the following:
Ensure the key is in the RUN position (one click before starting the vehicle)
Check for broken PINs on the Blue GM MFG cable
Check the vehicle DLC for faulty wiring of terminals
Try turning the key off for 10 seconds, then turn it to the run position and retry

I've had an Auto-Xray 6000 for about a year and a half, it has always worked perfectly on every OBDII vehicle tried but did the "cut out" thing others describe on my 93 Vette.
I contacted tech support and they sent different cables which made no difference, then suggested my ALDL was worn out, I replaced it with the same result. Next they said my ECM must have a communication problem, so I tried it on a different 93 Vette, same result.
At that point I told them I wanted my money back or a tool that would work on the Vette since the 6000 was advertised to do so.
They then sent two different 6000 scan tools before I finally received one that worked and it has functioned perfectly since.
My suggestion is to be persistent while your tool still has warranty, it may take awhile but they should make it right, good luck.
