Currently using the stock coil, although I did try using the Accel Brute Thunder Coil (coil in cap) and found it messed up my digital tach at rpms over 3200. Still not sure why:confused:
Sssssshhhhhh, don't tell my NCRS buddies, but I have an Accel Hi Perf coil. It's only been on the car for a few days and I've not really had much opportunity to 'get on it' to see how it's doing compared with the tired stock one.... but so far so good! :D I bought it through the local auto parts store for about $60. It was about $50 in one of the mail order catalogs - Jegs I think. But I needed it in a hurry as the car was off the road waiting for it's new ignition after the old one went suicidal on me. ;) ~Juliet
Accell super coil. Been on the car for about two years with no problems. You will have to get another plenum cover, the stock one won't fit with the super coil.
