Trans problem
I recently took out my corvette trans and installed it into another vehicle (el camino) the car has no provision for the speedo hook up and no electrical connections for the lockup...I am having problem with the trans not shifting it seems to be stuck in 1st gear... i am thinking it has something to do with the lack of the other stuff like the speedo and the lockup...so i am going to buy this B&M lockup kit http://www.jegs.com/p/B%26M/748070/10002/-1/10733
i know it will fix some of my problems but is that the cause of my trans not shifting?

Dana's a great guy and the first time I talked to him was for over an hour, and I didn't even say anything about buying. I did buy his Street/Strip Kit and a 9.5" Vigilante Converter from him - I'm almost done with the rebuild. The OP should definitely give him a call.
