Default Water Pump Man

Has anyone ever dealt with this guy on Ebay. I need a new water pump(I know that his are rebuilt) . It is either this guy or the ones they sell at autozone. The OEM on ecklers is a bit pricey. Would apperciate your opinions.

thanks nick

Buy on eBay and you have no recourse if it fails. Go to AutoZone and then you can at least take it back if it fails and get it replaced for free.

Somebody on here got bearings from the waterpump man and rebuilt their own pump. They spoke highly of him, if you do a search, you will find more. I bought my pump at the chevy dealer

AutoZone's pump that I have has a lifetime warranty. Bought it once and never have to pay for another one again!

You may want to look at a new or rebuilt one from Rockauto.com. If you are buying off the internet, might as well go with an established company...

I suppose that depends on the year... for my 92 Autozone has the new cardone for $156. Refurbed Valuecraft for a little less. I think the 92 was unique to the year.

I got one from Water Pump Man. Maybe a bit of a gamble but I did not want to pay for a new AC Delco pump, and it may be a crapshoot getting one from other companies anyway. The cardone brake booster I had for a short while had signs of penny pinching, and for all I know the ValueCraft/Duralast pumps could be from China.

I am hoping since Water Pump Man does one thing that they do it well. The ebay feedback is certainly excellent, although it seems alot of people leave feedback before or shortly after they install so this could be misleading. Did a little searching online and didn't find anything bad. BTW they have a website too waterpumpman.com

One thing I *didn't* like was that instead of a nice sandblasted casing it was painted silver. I repainted the whole thing along with my spout so they match. His do not come with a new spout but sells them for $20 extra

Note I have not run the car yet with the new pump

Thanks for the feedback buys. i think i'll just go with autozone. Its just right down the block, so if i have problems it isn't a pain in the a$$ to take it back.

thanks again
