Default 4+3 and 7730 ECM

I rcently completed installing a 7730 ecm into my 88 vehicle with the 4+3 trans. So far everything seems to work extemely well with just one minor annoyance. Everytime i bring the rpms up a little higher than usual i crunch second gear. Im trying to understand some of the trans controls to stop the OD from interfering with my shifts. For instance what does the Passby settings do? They seem to be disabled in the S_AUJP V3 bin im tring to use . Can anyone give me some ideas on what to look at?

Thanks

None of the SD bins have control logic for the 4+3 built-in. How did you wire in the control solenoid? I had wanted to just leave it on manual control, but it's a little tricky since the OD switch is a momentary switch and not a regular on/off switch.

The only wiring diagrams i have in my possession are for the 86 corvette. I have an 86 shifter with the switch mounted on the shifter. I wired the switch so that it would break the feed from pin F6 since i figured there was no logic for the switch in the 8D bins. The trans is from an 88 which has the 1st gear switch only. Compared to the TPIS modified 32B bin i had in the car originaly, with the 165 ECM, it's a real treat to drive. They had the shift points set so high that every shift was a neck snapping ordeal. Im using the stock shift points from a ABTW 32B bin and you can barely feel the shifts.
