84 c4 horns
Hi I've got this annoying problem. The horns on my 84 crossfire come
on of their own accord will blast steadily for about 30 seconds to a minuite and then turn off It may not happen again for a couple of hours or even all day BUT it will happen again generally at night (to the annoyance of my neighbours !
at the moment they are diconnected
The horn button works fine I have taken it off and cleaned the metal underneath as it wasn't making contact all round I did'nt go as far as taking off the steering wheel and I can hear the relay clicking merrily behind the dash
The alarm system which has an intermitant beep also works OK
I've checked out the earth cables from the horns to the chassis they seem OK
Anybody got any ideas ??
