Default I know another AC question..but its different

My AC seems to work ok with one person in the car. When my wife rides with me she says the vents on passanger side blow very little air. How can I increase air flow on her side? And two, why do these cars have a low out put of air flow other vehicles? I have checked the evap core and its clean, and I replaced the blower motor but nothing seems to make any difference on her side and now she won't ride with me when its hot....Good or Bad of that is to be determined.....lol

How forceful is it on the drivers side? Could be the vent door, an obstruction in the ductwork on her side or even the duct on her side off the vent..................You don't mention your wifes age but could it be the dreaded hot flash syndrome?

Is the max air setting supposed to blow harder in this car like other cars because mine does not??

Can you hear the sound of the air change when you go from fresh air in take, to max cool which is recirculation? It should be a very definite higher sound and rush of air.

Do you have the C68 auto unit?

Also just on the very outside chance that the three way check valve is defective causing poor vacuum and the vents not to operate proper. The valve is under the right side plastic fuel rail cover with 3 hoses on it. Check it out, perhaps it marginal.

I have no change from auto to recirc or any others except by changing the fan speed it self.
